The Department of Parking and Transportation Services proposes the construction of a new, approximately 114,000-gross-square-foot operations and maintenance building that will accommodate both current and future maintenance space needs, including the flexibility to handle larger articulated buses, and will also house heavy equipment maintenance operations that are currently in a separate building. The new facility, to be located on North Campus near Green Road and Hubbard Street, will meet current guidelines for vehicle maintenance facilities, including improved vehicle circulation and appropriate work zones for improved safety. The project will include on-site parking and we estimate the relocation will result in 185 spaces being made available on the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus for commuters and event parking.
